Small garden trees are pruned from standing. Large felling, stump grinding and rope work are not ours — and we will say so rather than take them on.
what we take on
Ornamental and garden trees worked from ground level with loppers, a hand saw and a pole pruner. The aim is light and clearance, not a hard cutback.

- Low limbs lifted clear of paths, drives and windows.
- Crossing and rubbing limbs taken out.
- Crowns thinned so light reaches the planting beneath.
what we turn down
If the job needs a ladder, a climbing rope or a saw above head height, it belongs with a qualified tree surgeon. We would rather tell you that than take it on.
- No felling of large trees.
- No stump removal or stump grinding.
- No work at height on ropes or harnesses.
- No work close to overhead cables.
