what we collect
When you contact us we collect your name, the address of the property, a phone number and an email address. If we come out to quote, we also keep notes on the garden — the run of hedging, the condition of the planting and the work you have asked for. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
why we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, to prepare a quote, to carry out the work you have booked, and to invoice for it. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
our lawful basis
We process your information to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract, to perform a contract you have with us, and for our legitimate interest in running the business. Where we need your consent — for example for a photograph of your garden — we will ask for it separately.
who we share it with
Nobody, other than our accountant and any professional adviser where it is necessary, or where the law requires it. We do not share your details with marketing companies.
how long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for twelve months. Records of work carried out are kept for six years, which is the period we are required to keep business records.
your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to us at the email address above. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
